TERMS & CONDITIONS - GENERAL
EACH PROPERTY HAS SPECIFIC CONDITIONS, BASED UPON NUMEROUS MARKET & LOCATION FACTORS. DETAILED TERMS & CONDITIONS WILL BE PROVIDED FOR SELECTED PROPERTY DURING BOOKING PROCESS.
Select Luxury Collection [SLC] acts as the marketing agent for disclosed principals & their exclusive property managers [Lessor], with fully disclosed details to be made available at the time of booking prceedings. Guests' [Lessee] booking payment and contract signings are made directly with the Lessor, who will be servicing local holiday arrangements.
IMPORTANT NOTE ON RATES/PRICES
As a marketing entity, SLC's activities are solely purpose based on guests making direct payments / bookings with the Lessor, at the exact same advertised Lessor's rates. All operators and agents list the same rental prices and SLC does not charge any additional fees for assisting with bookings. For selected properties, SLC may offer a discounted pricing on the property's publicly listed rates.
MINIMUM STAY REQUIREMENTS
Each property has minimum number of night stays, based on property’s seasonal booking requirements. Property specific details are provided during the booking process.
GUESTS REGISTRATION
Only the specified number of listed guests within the Rental Agreement at the time of booking may reside on the premisies. The number of registered guests provided at the time of booking is the maximum number of guests allowed. It is the absolute discretion of the Lessor or on-site property representative to ask any extra guest(s) to vacate the premises. Otherwise, each additional guest will be charged a fixed fee per night.
WEDDINGS / EVENTS
For selected properties, the existing facilities allow for planned events. Clients are responsible for any additional costs associated with planning and execution of such events.PAYMENT REQUIREMENTS
Each property booking requires an initial deposit, within days of booking confirmation. Payment balances are required at a specified date, prior to the starting rental period.
SECURITY DEPOSIT
A security deposit is required by the Lessor prior to the arrival date. Dependent on property, the security deposit will be authorised on credit card or paid by bank transfer, at a pre-specified number of days prior to arrival. In the event the property incurs damages or breakages during guests' stay, costs will be deducted from the security deposit. This excludes normal and acceptable wear and tear.
The condition of the property will be at the sole discretion of owner / property manager. If the value of the damages or breakages exceeds the amount of the security deposit, the Lessee will be held liable to pay any outstanding amount to the Lessor, as soon as possible.CANCELLATION POLICY
Different cancellation policies apply for each property. As such, during time of booking, a detailed, property specific, cancellation policy will be provided.
ALTERATION & CANCELLATIONS BY THE CLIENT
Should guests wish to make any changes to a confirmed booking, the Lessor will endeavour to assist you but cannot guarantee that it will be able to do so. The person who signed the booking form/contract must request the changes in writing. Please refer to your contract with the provider, or contact us for specific cancellation and refund policies on a specific property.ALTERATIONS & CANCELLATION BY THE OPERATOR (PROVIDER)
SLC will inform you as soon as possible if the Lessor requires to make any significant changes to your confirmed booking arrangements or to cancel them.CHANGES TO RESERVATIONS
Any changes made to the reservation dates, after booking confirmation, are considered to be a breach resulting in the forfeit of the rental agreement. All payments made are subject to the cancellation conditions stated in the Cancellation Policy for each property.INSURANCE
We recommend all clients take out adequate and appropriate insurance cover, inclusive of cover of the cost of cancellation, third party liability; personal, medical including rescue and repatriation; interruption and where relevant extreme sports is in place in respect of all users of the Services provided under the terms of this contract. It is your responsibility to ensure that the insurance you purchase is adequate and appropriate for your needs.COMPLAINTS
Any complaints or property issues that occur during the rental period should be discussed first with the on-site staff. If the staff are unable to quickly resolve the issue, please consult the Lessor, who will endeavour to rectify the issue to the best of their ability. The Lessor cannot be held liable for unforeseen issues such as interruptions to water supply, electricity, internet connectivity, cable TV, or breakdowns of pool / jacuzzi filtration systems. Lessee should address such complaints in writing to the Lessor within 24 hours of occurrence of issue. The Lessor will do everything within reasonable expectation to avoid complaints. Complaints made after check-out will not be considered.
CONDUCT & BEHAVIOUR
When renting the property, the Lessor is responsible for appropriate behavior of guests. If any guest behaves within manners deemed inappropriate, the Lessor or on-site representative, at their discretion, maintain the right to ask offending party to leave the premises. In such cases, no refund shall be claimed by the Lessee. Also, the owner or representatives reserve the right to enter the premises at such reasonable times to perform any repairs and property maintenance.
UNLAWFUL ACTIVITIES
Unlawful possession, use or consumption of any illegal substances is strictly prohibited at the property, including unlawful behaviours. For safety of property and local employees, guests are not allowed to bring male/female joiners back to the property.PROPERTY STAFF
Daily staff service is included during your stay, available 7:00 am to 10:00 pm. Staff are also available outside such hours, charged at the discretion of property manager. Additional services such as babysitting [excluding infants] or driver service, may be arranged in advance. The Lessee must allow staff access to designated property components to conduct their work. This may include, pool maintenance, gardener access or daily housekeeping. At the Lessee’s own discretion, a service tip may be provided to staff, upon departure.NOISE
Noise levels must be kept to reasonable levels, particularly between 11:00 pm and 8:00 am.FOOD & BEVERAGES
All rentals include an in-house chef for all daily meals. All food and beverages purchased on behalf of the guests are charged at cost, plus a surcharge covering food shopping, transportation, preparation and use of the kitchen.SMOKINBG / PETS
Smoking is not permitted inside the property. Smoking is only allowed outside on the grounds, where ashtrays can be provided. There is a “no pets policy”.LINENS & TOWELS
Linens and towels are provided by the property and linens are changed every few days, or more often, when necessary. Towels are replaced, when placed in provided towel baskets. Additional charges may apply if more frequent linen changes are needed.UTILITIES
Utility costs are included within the pricing. As such, guests must take respectful care in closing windows / doors, while air-conditioning / heating is operating. Wasteful uses of electricity, may incur additional Lessee charges.DUE CARE & SUPERVISION INDEMNITY
It is understood that the Lessee is responsible and liable for the safety and well being of guests and third parties during their stay. Both the Lessee and guests are required to take due care during their stay and take necessary precautions such as supervision of children. All children must be under the direct supervision of an adult at all times. Guests are not permitted to enter the property while wet from swimming, as floors may become slippery. Damages or injuries resulting from such scenarios are the responsibility of the Lessee. The Lessee indemnifies and holds the Lessor harmless and free of liability resulting from such consequences of accidents, leading to injury.VALUABLES
It is advised that guests use available safety deposit boxes for storage of their valuables, travel documents, cash, etc. Neither the Lessor nor its staff will be held responsible for any valuables left behind, lost or damaged.FURNITURE / DECOR / ARTWORKS
Interior furnishings must remain inside the property and only designated outdoor furniture may be used on the exterior premises. Guests must be aware that each property contains precious contemporary and antique pieces of unique art and / or designer furnishings and must take care to avoid causing any damages. Lessee shall be held liable for any damages during the rental period and costs will be deducted from the aforementioned security deposit. If damage costs exceed the security deposit amount, the Lessee is liable for the remaining damages and must compensate the Lessor for the difference in cost.PASSPORTS
The Lessee shall ensure that all individuals have in their possession current Passports and Visas, each with an expiry date no earlier than 6 months after the date of departure from the country in which the Services are provided.

With respect to all properties featured on SLC, we always try to maintain the accuracy of information on all available properties. However, in the event that there is incorrect information, SLC reserves the right to disclaim responsibility due to these errors. This website information is provided to us by the Lessor and is not altered factually when placed on this website. To the best of our knowledge, all details on this website were accurate at the time of being published. Any images used in our advertising have been provided by the owner / exclusive manager and should be used for illustrative purposes only. SLC strives to keep all images on the site as up to date as possible, but they may not be an exact representation of the accommodation, due to any recent refurbishments or re-designs.
PAYMENTS
Upon contractural signing, all Lessee payments are directly paid to the Lessor.
CONFIDENTIALITY
SLC and Lessor shall keep in strict confidence all Lessee's details including identity, technical or commercial know-how, specifications; location which are of a confidential nature and have been disclosed to the receiving party by the Supplier (disclosing party), its employees, agents or Customers, and any other confidential information concerning the disclosing party's business, its products and services which the receiving party may obtain. The receiving party shall only disclose such confidential information to those of its employees, agents and subcontractors who need to know it for the purpose of discharging the receiving party's obligations under the Contract, and shall ensure that such employees, agents and subcontractors comply with the obligations set out in this clause as though they were a party to the Contract. The receiving party may also disclose such of the disclosing party's confidential information as is required to be disclosed by law, any governmental or regulatory authority or by a court of competent jurisdiction. This clause shall survive termination of the Contract.
FORCE MAJEURE FOR THE PURPOSES OF THE OPERATOR (PROVIDER/SUPPLIER)
For the purposes of this Contract, Force Majeure Event means an event beyond the reasonable control of the Supplier including but not limited to strikes, lock-outs or other industrial disputes (whether involving the workforce of the Supplier or any other party), failure of a utility service or transport network, act of God, war, riot, civil commotion, malicious damage, compliance with any law or governmental order, rule, regulation or direction, accident, breakdown of plant or machinery, fire, flood, storm or default of suppliers or subcontractors.
The Supplier shall not be liable to the Customer as a result of any delay or failure to perform its obligations under this Contract as a result of a Force Majeure Event.
